Dalia Hayon, Independent Financial Planner
Her career began in the field of education after she got her teaching degree at Stern College in New York. For 30 years that followed she owned a chain of retail stores where she served as Chief Financial Officer of the entire corporation that employed 120 people. She single-handedly managed the financing, insurance, budgeting buying and investments of the Corporation, including building the business from the ground up, establishing the company, and handling the company’s accounting. She also engaged in International Import & Export trading in the U.S., Europe and the Far East. The tasks included all the custom documentation and all other import/export procedures. Seventeen years ago she made another career switch when she became a senior herself.
Combining her love for education and financing, she now serves as an independent financial planner of several law firms in Los Angeles, set up computerized accounting for the Santa Monica Bar Association, traveled with 2 auction companies nationwide as a senior computerized bookkeeper, and dedicates most of her time to working with families to educate and help design their financial needs, taking into consideration the generations involved, and manage their business in a most efficient manner.
Dalia is involved with several community outreach activities. In 2010 she served as the treasurer of the San Fernando Valley Parkinson’s Association, since 2011, she serves as the treasurer on the board of The Ovarian Cancer Circle/Inspired by Robin Babbini, and a supporter of Breast Cancer, Leukemia and Lymphoma and the Alzheimer Association.
